Muse new album progress


According to an official message of the band, Muse is currently mixing the new album and should be finished over the next few weeks. Release and touring plans will be announced soon. We already know that "Crying Shame" isn't going to be the first single.

About the album, some new songs deal with the following themes : awol soldiers, Zeta Reticulans, the sound of Joe Meek's tape machine being thrown down the stairs, the private thoughts of General Zhu Chenghu, feeling strangely comfortable collecting fire wood whilst wielding an axe and of course, how to store Pasta for 12 years using nitrogen flushing...

Muse will headline Leeds festival according to NME


NME has confirmed Muse participation to Leeds festival.
(The magazine usually announce the headliners a few days before they are officially announced). Muse will be headlining alongside with Pearl Jam & Franz Ferdinand.

'A Crying Shame' first single from the new album?

RollingStone.com announced the song 'A Crying Shame' as the first single from Muse next album. The song was played a few times during Muse last concerts. They also announced the release date of the new album:May 16th.
Confirmation yet to come from Muse management.

New international release dates for Absolution Tour DVD


Japan will release the DVD "Absolution Tour" on 22 February and Brazil on 23 February. Argentina and Chile have stock on order and will release before the end of February. The DVD is now available in Australia and New Zealand.
